An opportunity to learn something about the history of the area and some of the folklore while practicing your Welsh. On your walks, learn more about words, their meaning and how to use them.
We will be walking in the countryside, some parts will be slippery and muddy with the occasional slope on leaving the slate mines. The routes will not involve mountainous routes.
Remember to bring plenty of warm waterproof clothing, walking boots, rucksack and a thermos flask.

09:30 Tomen y Mur to Maentwrog – The Romans, The Mabinogion, The Farmers and The Power Stations.
17:00 Arrive back at Plas
19:30 Talk/Slides: Speaker To be confirmed.
09:30 From Llandecwyn to Talsarnau: Chapel time, ancient traces and excellent views (if the weather allows)
13:00 Sunday Lunch then depart.
