Young Ranger Scheme

Snowdonia National Park Authority and the Outdoor Partnership are joining forces to run an exciting scheme for young people in 2018. We are looking for 10 enthusiastic and self-motivated young men and women aged 14 – 16, for our Young Ranger scheme. As part of the team you will have the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills to set you up to be the rangers of the future!

Spaces are limited to 10 young people, so we expect there to be a lot of competition for the places. But remember the most important things we are looking for are the enthusiasm and desire to be part of the scheme and a love of the outdoors. It doesn’t matter what your background or previous experience is. If you want to work in the outdoor sector in the future, this is the scheme for you. You’ll be learning a variety of skills, from rock climbing to conservation skills. Our expert rangers and outdoor instructors will be on hand to guide you through the programme.
