Carneddau Landscape Partnership

Meeting the challenge

The Carneddau uplands are fragile and the health of many of its features is finely balanced. Challenges include erosion, changing land-use practices, the decline of traditions and loss of knowledge, uncertainty over agricultural policy and the impacts of climate change and other environmental effects.

The Carneddau Landscape Partnership’s project aims to help people discover, record, protect and celebrate the special features of the landscape. It will do this by providing new ways of learning about the area, better information, events and activities, resources for schools and young people, skills training, access improvements, landscape conservation demonstration projects and grants for conservation works and community activities.
