Plas Tan y Bwlch is the National Park’s official Study Centre. Friends of Tan y Bwlch is a registered charity that provide funds for the continued enhancement of the centre and for research into local environmental projects.
Every year, hundreds of volunteers offer their time to help protect Snowdonia—aiding the work of litter picking, tree planting and wardening. A donation towards the National Park Authority’s volunteering initiatives will ensure that volunteers can continue to play a role in protecting Snowdonia for generations to come.
Ensuring that Snowdonia thrives sustainably is one of the key goals of the National Park Authority. A donation towards sustainability initiatives will support work such as carbon-neutral travel initiatives, sustainable tourism and sustainable infrastructure across Snowdonia.

Yr Ysgwrn is one of the National Park’s treasures. It was home to one of Wales’ most famous poets, Hedd Wyn, who’s tragic story is an inherent part of Wales’ poetic history.
Your contribution will go towards ensuring that Yr Ysgwrn’s doors are kept open for generations to come.
The National Park Authority offers the option to hire off-road mobility scooters such as Trampers, free of charge, ensuring that the countryside is accessible to all.
You contribution will go towards the work of maintaining the mobility scooters.
