The Planning Service is committed to providing an effective and efficient Development Management and Compliance Service and to providing an impartial and professional contribution to the achievement of quality development proposals within Snowdonia National Park.
Planning permission is needed for building work (such as new houses or extensions), for engineering work (such as roads or quarries) and for a material change of use (such as from a field to a caravan site). There are general permissions for some types of development including some house extensions.
