Before using this section of our website please read the information below regarding public access of planning information. If you require any further information on using this website please contact the Authority using the contact details on the Planning Contact Page.
The Online Planning service allows you to:
- Search for a planning application by a variety of criteria such as address, date and type
- View details of planning applications
- Identify the status of a planning application
- View documents related to applications
Please allow for spelling variations and abbreviations if performing a text based search. The system is updated overnight on a daily basis.

Please Note, the Local Government (Access to information) Act 1985 obliges us to make available for public inspection comments made on applications. However, these are not published online. The comments received do however form part of the planning application file and are taken into consideration as part of the decision making process. They can be viewed in person at the national park office.
Officer Delegated Reports
Electronic Copies of the “Officer Delegated Reports” for individual planning applications are available by request by contacting the Development Management Section.
Plans, drawings and material submitted to the Authority are protected by the copyright acts (section 47, 1988 act). You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans. Further copies must not be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner.
