The National Park Authority owns/manages the following Pay & Display Car Parks in Snowdonia listed below.
All car parks are open 24hrs with daily rate tickets valid until midnight.
NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING OR STAYS IN CAMPERVANS /MOTORHOMES PERMITTED
See list below of sites and the payment options. Blue badge holders are entitled to free parking.

Cae Llan, Betws y Coed (Opposite the Train Station) Short Stay car park - Accepts Card or Coin Payments. Tariff as follows:-
Up to 1 hour
Up to 2 hours
Up to 4 hour
Overnight 18.01 - 07.59
Car Parking Annual Permits
For the convenience of residents and regular users of the above listed car parks, omitting the short stay car park, Cae Llan (opposite the Train Station in Betws y Coed), the Authority issues annual parking permits which runs from 1st April to 31st March of each year
With effect from 1 April 2018 there are two types of permits:
Permit 1 - Excluding Pen y Pass
SNPA Car Parks – excluding Pen y Pass
This permits allows free parking in the Authority's pay and display car parks excluding Pen y Pass.
All Vehicles - Cost - £120 per year
Permit 2 – Including Pen y Pass
All SNPA Car Parks, excluding Cae Llan
This permit allows free parking in all the Authority's pay and display car parks including Pen y Pass
Cars / vehicles with 7 seats or less - Cost:- £250 per year
Mini buses / vehicles with more than 7 seats.
Cost: £500 per year / £250 for 6 months or part of during the period from 1st April - 30 September / 1st October - 31st March
All costs shown include VAT at the standard rate of 20%.
Conditions of Use:
- Please ensure that your permit is displayed clearly whenever you park so that it can be read clearly from outside your car by our parking attendants.
- A parking space is not guaranteed.
- You must park within the confinement of the marked bays.
- You must not copy or alter your parking permit or allow anyone else to do so.
There will be a charge of £10 to reprint your permit.
