The Snowdonia National Park Authority owns/manages the Pay and Display Car Parks listed below:-
All car parks are open 24 hours with daily tickets valid until midnight.
OVERNIGHT CAMPING IS NOT PERMITTED.

Sites accepting card payments only – ‘Chip & pin’ or contactless. Visa, Maestro and Mastercard accepted:-

Cae Llan, Betws y Coed (Opposite train station) Short Stay Car Park - Accepts card payments only. Rates as follows:
Up to 1 hour
Up to 2 hours
Up to 4 hours

Annual Parking Permits
For the convenience of regular car park users, with the exception of Pen y Pass and Cae Llan short stay car park (opposite Train Station at Betws y Coed), the Authority issue annual parking permits that are valid between 1st of April and 31st of March each year.
Permit holders may park at the following SNPA pay and display sites:
Betws y Coed; Ogwen; Nant Peris; Cwellyn; Pont Bethania; Beddgelert; Rhyd Ddu;
Llyn Tegid; Morfa Dyffryn; Ty Nant; Dol Idris; Llangower; Capel Curig.
WITH THE EXCEPTION OF Pen y Pass & Cae Llan (Betws y Coed)
From 1st April 2021 one permit is offered:
SNPA car parks - with the exception of Pen y Pass and Cae Llan
Permit holders may park free of charge at the Authority's pay and display car parks with the exception of Pen y Pass
All vehicles - Cost - £120 per year
All prices stated are inclusive of VAT at the standard rate of 20%
- Your permit must be clearly displayed when parking so that car park attendants may read it easily
- Parking spaces are not guaranteed
- Parking must be within appropriate parking bays
- You may not photocopy or change your permit, or allow someone else to do so
A fee of £10 is payable to re-print your permit.
