I joined the Authority in 1994, concentrating mainly on Cader Idris and the parishes of Trawsfynydd and Ganllwyd. I was born and raised in Llawrplwy' Trawsfynydd, therefore I know the area and it's people to a good degree.
I feel it's important to nurture a good relationship with the local community and landowners. I have had a massive interest in mountaineering since my school days (Blaenau Ffestiniog of course!) and it's a big help in assisting visitors in the area. Trying to solve small problems before they become big problems - that's the aim.

Cader Idris - One of the main mountains of Wales, it has numerous paths to the summit, classic climbs and stunning views. The Rhinogydd - offers rough and wild walks, the hardest in Wales? Quite possibly. There are numerous paths and cycle routes in Traws without mentioning Coed y Brenin by Ganllwyd 'THE' place to come for every standard of mountain biking, walking and running, truly something for everyone.
